Join the lab

We are always looking for people who get excited about RNA. Whatever your specialty, if you want to see what molecules are really doing, you will fit right in, pick up the skills you are missing, and find out how much fun real science is. Most of our projects need both experiments and computation, and everyone ends up doing a bit of each.

Graduate students and postdocs

Send Hyeshik an email with a few lines on why you want to join us and where you hope your career will go, and attach a CV that lists the courses you took as an undergraduate. Graduate students join us through the School of Biological Sciences.

Undergraduate internships

Most of our graduate students first came to the lab as interns, so this is a good way to find out whether the lab is for you. If you are an undergraduate curious about how new technology drives biology, email Hyeshik or drop by his office (203-525) to ask whether a place is open, since that changes often. You can also come through the College of Natural Sciences’ paid internship program in the summer and winter breaks.
